It’s a beautiful Saturday my friends! Good Morning! It was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up and let us see another weekend.
It looks like we’ll be staying in again this weekend, right? But, don’t get discouraged! Our stay at home orders will be lifted soon.
We’ll soon have a weekend when we can go anywhere we like. We have done what we have been asked to do and we are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.
Try to let your worry about the future go. Give it all to God. Worry doesn’t change anything, it doesn’t help anything. Worry just steals your joy from your present moment and day.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go and let God have your worries and fears.”
And I am sending a little prayer with the hug: Dear God, we come to You, humbly asking You to be with us this weekend.
Please bless everyone praying this prayer. Give us a weekend that is filled with Your joy. Give us smiles for our faces, laughter in our souls and peace in our homes.
For those who have lost their jobs, please restore their jobs and make a way for them financially. Help them not to lose hope.
Please comfort those who have lost loved ones during this pandemic and keep them close during their time of grief.
Give Your strength to those on the frontlines who are caring for the sick. Protect them from harm and bless them in ways they have never known before.
Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm. Shower us with Your blessings of mercy, grace and favor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. May you blessed today and every day. Have a blessed weekend.
