Happy first weekend of May, my friends! Good Morning! It was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up and let us see this weekend.
Let’s make today a great day. Let’s make a pact right now that today is going to be happy, joyful and filled with God’s blessings. And don’t let anyone take that decision from you.
We don’t like that this virus forced us to stay home. We love our homes, we love our families, but it goes against our human nature to be forced to stay somewhere.
We don’t like it one bit. But we are very resilient. We did what we had to do. And we did it well. We stayed home. We protected ourselves, our families and others.
And God has brought us through. He has protected us, provided for us and calmed our hearts. He has placed His peace in our hearts and we have relied upon Him to get us to this point.
So, this weekend, do your best to let all the worry and stress go. Turn it over to God. He will give you His peace. If you are able to get out this weekend, great!
Just be safe, be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings at all times. Listen to your local authorities and find out where you can safely go and where to need to steer clear of.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go, let God have your worries and fears and enjoy your weekend”.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug: Dear God, Please bless everyone reading this. We are so thankful You have brought us to this weekend.
Give us a weekend that is filled with Your joy. Give us smiles for our faces, laughter in our souls and peace in our hearts and homes.
Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm. Be with us this weekend and shower us with Your blessings. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. May you blessed today and every day. Have a blessed weekend.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

Hi Dianne
This is so true and thanks for the hugs as one can always use them.
Sounds like a long wait again unless Woodward can convince him to open our side. Even sheriff doesn’t like it. Prayers to all.
