Good Morning! It was God who brought us through the week and it was God who woke us up to see another beautiful weekend. Thank You, God, for waking us up!
And it isn’t just any weekend. It’s the weekend the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24. May God bless you and your family.
Try not to bring any worries, fears and anxieties of the week into the weekend with you. Try to clear your mind of everything and focus on making today count.
Do your best to be at peace and take peace with you wherever you go. It is important that we feel the peace that God wants us to feel.
He doesn’t want us to live in drama and chaos. He wants us to live in and project peace. When we allow chaos and confusion to come into our lives, it is hard for us to hear God.
If you can get out this weekend, and you feel it is safe for you, get out and enjoy yourself. Get out and feel the sunshine on your face.
Meet a friend for lunch. Shop a little bit, even if it’s only window shopping. Run an errand for someone who can’t get out, do something that gets you out of your four walls.
It has been a very hard past couple of weeks for us. If you are like me, you have spent a lot of time glued to the television.
It seems like the world has fallen into chaos and disarray. But God has brought us through these difficult times. He has protected us, provided for us and calmed our hearts.
I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress and worry go. With this hug, I am saying, “Let your stress go, let God have your worries and fears and have a weekend filled with God’s peace”.
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug: Dear God, Please bless everyone reading this. We are so thankful You have brought us to this beautiful weekend.
Give us a weekend that is filled with Your peace and calm. Remind us that You are with us, You have never left us and You’ll be with us forever.
Place a shield of protection around us that protects us from all harm. Guide our footsteps away from danger and keep our eyes and hearts focused on You.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you will remember this one. Saturday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
