Saturday Hugs

I’m sending Saturday Hugs your way. I hope you can catch one! Happy Saturday and Happy weekend. And if you are still celebrating Valentine’s Day this weekend, may you feel loved.

Try to shake off any stress and worries and take some time to just breathe. If you are worried about something, try your best to turn it over to God and let Him resolve it for you. Nothing was ever accomplished by worrying.

Pray about everything. Worry about nothing.

The other day I heard someone say, “I’m very tired. But I’m not tired from my work. I am tired of worrying all the time about everything. I am just tired”.

As you read that, did you say to yourself, “I know exactly how that feels”? Yeah, me too. There is nothing more fatiguing than worry or stress. Worry takes a terrible toll on the body and mind.

I’m sending you this hug to help you let all your stress go. Your weekend will be so much more enjoyable if you spend it worry-free, without the stress of problems that weigh you down.

There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.

Live for today. Live in each moment. Remember, God does not want us worried. He does not want us stressed out. Turn over all your worries and stress to Him. He will place His peace in your heart.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ~Matthew 11:28-30

Even though I can’t physically be with you all, I still want to send you out a Saturday hug to let you know that God loves you and I love you too. Saturday Hugs!
