Don’t do it. Your peace of mind and your contentment are too important. Don’t let your heart and soul be affected by those who criticize your life. It just isn’t worth it. Constructive criticism is one thing, but here, I am talking about people who criticize you out of ignorance, jealously or resentment.
Stop wasting time getting upset at those who criticize your life. It’s always someone who has no idea of the price you paid to get where you are today. ~Unknown
Have you ever been around someone who constantly criticizes others? And usually it is someone who is doing well or who is on their way up in life? Honestly, I just can’t be around this type person anymore. They choose to remain ignorant of the price these people have paid to get to where they are.
You may be now or have been in the past a target of criticism. Unwarranted and unrequested criticism. We all have. And the better you are doing, the worse those critics become.
But you can’t let it upset you. You must not let it upset you. They’re not seeing all the hours, all the days, months and years that you’ve put in to make it happen-to make YOUR LIFE happen! They didn’t hear all those prayers that went up to God, asking for His help and guidance. They didn’t see all those tears, all those long days and nights you put in to make your dream a reality. And even if they did, they choose to turn a blind eye to all your hard work. They’d rather believe you are successful for other reasons.
Don’t waste a second of your time letting these people upset you. If you let these thoughts take root in your mind, your emotions will take over and they’ve already won. You are where you are today because you have worked your butt off for it. And the people who matter will realize that, will recognize your accomplishments and will show you how proud they are of you.
