I love seeing cardinals around my home, in and around my barn and in others' yards. I love cardinals...period.

You know the saying..."Cardinals appear when angels are near". When you've lost a loved one, cardinals always make me feel that our loved one is near.

And this is such a statement piece that reflects your love of cardinals and reflects that the cardinal is a memorialization of your loved one!

We antiqued a metal cabochon with dark brown, soft browns and golds. We used a raised image of a beautiful cardinal and it holds court in the right side of the cabochon. A beautiful, cabbage head red rose and a soft, muted gold/brown flower are beautifully placed at the bottom of the cardinal. The words, "Always With You," are sealed into the cabochon. The inside of the heart is wrapped in antiqued rhinestones and gold beads. The outside of the heart is also wrapped in rhinestones. We softly sprinkled gold fairy dust above and below the words, "Always With You". We've added a drop to the centerpiece which is made of handcrafted bead lengths and a red cabbage head rose which match the rose in the chain, the bead lengths in the chain and inside the cabochon.

All items in the cabochon are sealed and the piece softly reflects the light.

The cabochon is 2.75" high and 2" wide. The drop adds another 2.4" to the length.

And speaking of the chain...it is so rich and inspired by the vintage, Victorian feel of necklaces long past.

From the top of the metal cabochon, it is 24" long and is handcrafted of chain, red, faceted bead lengths, rose bead lengths, a rhinestone-wrapped image of a vintage woman and a wooden cardinal.

The rhinestone-wrapped image of a vintage woman and the wooden cardinal add so much to the chain. The chain enhances the romantic, vintage feel of the piece.

All wiring in the piece is gold tone. The chain closes with a lobster clasp.
