Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday, my friends! I am thankful that God woke me up this morning and I am thankful He woke you up too. I’m sending out Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way.
We are living in strange, difficult times. Looking back just a few weeks, we would never have dreamed that we would be here—trying to adapt our daily lives to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Don’t let fear and worry take root in your heart. Yes, our days are unpredictable and full of uncertainty, but God is going to bring us out of the darkness and into His glorious light.
It is understandable that worry and have fear. This virus is a hidden enemy and we always fear the unknown—what we can’t see. But try to keep everything you hear about the virus in perspective.
With all the negative news we are hearing, it’s easy to let panic take over. Again, keep everything in perspective. And don’t let statistics scare you.
Remember, if you are elderly and/or you have underlying health conditions, take extra precaution and stay inside. Don’t take any unnecessary risks.
Let’s keep doing what we need to do to get through this time. Let’s keep washing our hands, not touching our face, and staying out of crowds. Let’s stay home and starve this virus.
And let’s be thankful for all we have while we are doing it. Let’s be thankful for each other. Because when this is all over, and we still have each other, our hearts will be full of thankfulness.
All of this chaos, all of this confusion is going to pass, We are going to come out on the other side of this public health crisis. We are going to get through it.
I am thankful for all the doctors, nurses and all healthcare providers who are working tirelessly to test, treat and care for those who have been infected. Words are not sufficient to express my gratitude.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. God bless you with all of His protection, mercy and grace. And Happy Thankful Thursday Hugs!
