Thankful Thursday Hugs

Good Morning and Happy Thankful Thursday! Today is a special Thankful Thursday as it is also our National Day of Prayer.

I don’t know about you, but I woke up with a thankful heart. I am thankful to be alive, to be breathing, to be in good health and I am thankful for you!

No matter what is going on in your life, there is always, always, always something to be thankful for. So, thank God for the little things, the big things and everything in between.

I’m sending Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS your way. This hug is sent with a lot of love, care and encouragement. I hope you can catch one!

We have been through trying times. We are worried about our jobs, our finances, and our future. We have been worried about our health, staying healthy and doing what we can to keep our family healthy.

It’s been hard on us. And we are feeling the strain of worry, staying in place, and we are afraid of the future because there is so much about the future that is unknown.

But hold on, my friends. Better days are coming. We are getting to a better place. Just keep believing and trusting in God. Don’t let your fears and worries override your thankfulness.

With this hug, I am sending a short, simple prayer for our Country and for the world. Please pray this prayer with me:

Dear God, please reach down with Your healing hands and heal our Country. Heal this land, heal Your people and restore our hope.

Remove our fears and worries and place Your peace in our hearts and homes. Bring us together as a people and remind us to love one another.

Replace chaos with Your peace. Replace confusion with clarity and bring happiness and joy to our families and friends.

Take away our doubts and strengthen our faith. Open doors of opportunity for all of us and make a way for us financially and economically.

We pray that our Country is eventually stronger in our faith, stronger in our togetherness and stronger economically.

Please bless us all, be with us all and keep us focused on You. We thank You for bringing us through this pandemic and we thank You for sending Your son for us. By His stripes, we are healed.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
