No matter how much we might want life to slow down sometimes, it doesn’t. And it never will. And no matter how much we want things to stop for just us, give us some time to come to grips with what’s going on, this ride called “life” waits for no one.
A few months ago, I was talking with a friend who had shared some things with me. She was upset because someone in our circle of friends had suddenly “changed”. She just kept repeating, “I want things to go back to the way they were, back when we were all so close.”
I just listened and waited for her to talk it out. She had been particularly close to this friend. They had always considered each other best friends, but there were big changes happening.
When she noticed I wasn’t saying anything, she asked me what I thought. And, I have to admit, when all the changes started happening, I was of the same mindset. But, now as I was talking with her, I felt very differently.
While on this ride called “life”, you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad, love what you’ve got and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget. Learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change. Things go wrong. Just remember, the ride goes on.
I began to tell her that life is all about change. We can’t control changes in someone else. We can only control how we react to them.
Life is not always amazing. Sometimes it beats you up, breaks your heart and creates deep chasms of pain that last for a long time, maybe for the rest of your life.
The only constant about this ride called “life” is that it goes on. It doesn’t stop to give you time to accept changes in someone else. Always, always remember, the ride goes on.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

It is necessary for changes..everything is temporary….the reason why..if you really look..it takes you out of a comfortzone to grow….there will always something new for our good…and it will be seen if your attitude is positive..and sometimes it is in yourself that has changed.

I so thank u for the encouragement of how we all change from time to time. But really everyone picks a side of which person am I gonna benefit from out of this situation. So that’s when someone u thought was your friend changes on u and takes the other side. But when or if things go opposite, there they r trying to b your best bud again. Life needs to go back to the way it was when I was growing up. Back in the days. Where’s everybody’s loyalty, respect, dignity, just where r the real people friends at? Because I am really needing them people around me to pick me up when I fall. Not the ones to keep ki ki g u while u r already down. Communication rules the nation. No correspondence no relation. So to all the true friends or even the outspoken people who kn ow all the morals of life and self respect,I need friends like ya who enjoy fun and entertainment, but the right way. And I’ve missed out on a lot but I’m not dead yet so I still got some life in me to do better and do the right thing for the remainder of my time that I have here in this crucial society of life. But I’m trying to make the best of it. And thank u for the message and the uplift of not giving up. And I almost did,but I live my life it’s not the best but I’m above ground and for that great ful. So to all u guys out there battling whatever in life. Hit me up. I’ll try to help but I’m barely making it myself. But if u need a friend I am or can b that person. 💯 4sure!! Nat Ramirez…. Thanks again! And the skies the limit! How far do u want to go? Your success is your stopping g point. U stop trying to do better or progress u stop your flight to the moon, stars or where u would like to visit one day. So start your goals simple and not way out there. The more u accomplish on those little goals the better u will feel about yourself. Then bump it up. But u can accomplish anything u and your health let u accomplish.. God bless you all and I hope that you are having a good morning!!!

Yes I agree. Any ideas on how to persevere in difficult times. I understand that one must keep your focus always on JESUS but sometimes very difficult when you get up you get kicked down.
