No matter what is going on in your life, look around and see all your blessings. Right now. Just stop a second. Look around you and see everything God has blessed you with.
You see a lot of those blessings, right? They’re all around you. And when you see your blessings, you’ll feel the stress slipping away.
I’m too blessed to be stressed, too grateful to be hateful. When life gets you down, you have to…LOVE a little deeper, LAUGH a little louder, SMILE a little bigger, GIVE a little more, FORGIVE a little quicker, HOLD the ones you love a little tighter. Because tomorrow is never promised.
A few days ago, I went out to get supplies for some of my orders. While I was at my favorite craft store, I noticed that no one was smiling. Not the cashiers, the other employees and none of the customers.
But then I noticed that I wasn’t smiling either. I was going about my day, just getting what I needed and I realized that my face was less than friendly.
So, I decided that the next person I saw I would break out into a big smile and say in a friendly tone, “Good Morning to you”!
I only had to wait a few seconds. As I rounded an aisle, I came face to face with an older woman (I think she was older than me) and without hesitation, I put on a wide smile and said, “Good Morning to you”!
And do you know what she did? She did exactly the same thing. She smiled and her face lit up. I think she almost laughed. But, she said as loud or louder, “Good Morning”!
And then she said something that warmed my heart. She said, “God Bless you, honey”. I wasn’t surprised at all. That was God giving me a blessing right back. And I was so grateful.
So, for the rest of my time there, I made sure to share a smile and greeting with everyone I saw. When I left there, I sat in my car for a little bit and just cried. I didn’t cry because I was sad. I cried because I felt so blessed and my heart was full.
We only have so much time on this earth. And we have to make sure that we love, laugh, smile, give, forgive and cherish the ones we love. Our tomorrow is not promised. Our next moment is not promised.
Forgive people–not for them, but for you. You deserve to live a life without grudges and bad feelings. Laughter is good for the soul. Do it as much as you can. Love and cherish the ones you love.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

I love reading your posts everyday β€οΈ I have been struggling with anger and it takes a lot of work on my part. I lived this way for so long that it’s so hard to smile instead of being angry. I’ve endured physical, emotional and verbal abuse for so many years. It is getting better. I have found Christ and I know God loves me. Thank you for making my days betterπβοΈπ
