Can you believe it?! It’s July already! And I LOVE it! July is a wonderful time of year for me. Summer is officially locked in and everything seems a little brighter. I hope you love it as much as I do…or at least just a little.
July is a month full of summertime memories. A time when our whole family spent time together honoring our Country’s Independence. It was a time of laughter and gratitude that we were all together.
It was a time for hot dogs and burgers on the grill and sparklers–lots of sparklers.
It was a time of long, hot days spent at the barn, working in the garden and my mother and grandmother on the front porch shelling peas and sipping on the best sweet tea on the planet.
I plan to spend my month of July living in each moment. I want to enjoy every second of every day. Because I am thankful to be alive. I am thankful for another July and thankful that we live in a free Country.
Don’t waste your time counting down the days until the end of the week, the month or year. Believe me, the time is going to pass. And you can never get it back. So make every day count. Collect the precious moments and make wonderful memories along the way. Make beautiful memories for your entire month of July.
I pray your month of July is blessed and full of beautiful memories that you cherish for a lifetime. I pray you take some time just for you. Time to breathe. Time to tell yourself that everything is going to be okay. Time to pray. Time to tell yourself that you’ve moved forward into a new month with new opportunities and new blessings. Take time to look around you and see all of God’s beauty that is in the plain and the extraordinary.
