It’s the weekend! Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends! We have this weekend and two more before Christmas. Christmas Day is actually on a Thursday this time, so with 2 weeks and 5 days, Christmas is here! Can you believe it?
Let’s believe together that this weekend is going to be blessed by God. Believe it and trust in God to make it happen. God is good, all the time! Keep this in mind all weekend!
I’m sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to say “Always believe that God is with you. Keep His peace in your heart. Don’t let the hustle and the bustle of the Season take you out of God’s peace.”
And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me. And when you pray, believe with all your heart that God hears our prayers and He is still on the throne.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up to see this new day. We are grateful to be alive, to be well and to have another day to walk with You and place You at the center of our lives.
It is so good, Lord, to feel the Christmas spirit in the air. When we see and hear all the sights and sounds of Christmas, we remember the reason we celebrate Christmas, the birth of Your Son.
Let each person reading this, feel Your hands upon them and let them know Your love is sufficient for all of us.
Remove sickness, aches and pains from everyone reading this. Heal our bodies, our hearts, our minds, our emotions and our spirits.
Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
We ask You to restore our health, our jobs, our families and our faith in You. You have brought us this far and we know that You will not abandon us now.
We claim and receive the blessings You are sending for our weekend, Lord. We accept Your blessings of happiness, peace, joy and renewed energy.
Lord, place a shield of protection around our families and friends and keep us safe from harm. Remove anything from our paths that may harm us or take us out of Your peace.
May we remember You want us to help and bless others who need help. Show us ways each day how to bless others during this Christmas Season.
Lord, we want to take Your peace everywhere we go. May we be used as Your peacemaker and diffuse any situations that become chaotic and are filled with confusion.
Remove our worries, fears and anxieties and place Your calming peace in our hearts and homes. Help us to always focus on our blessings and not our problems.
Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
