Let’s make a promise to ourselves today…don’t live with regrets…let them go. Don’t regret what you didn’t get done yesterday…don’t regret mistakes from your past, don’t regret things you’ve said or things you’ve done. See all of these things as lessons…learn from these lessons and move on.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
Always love and cherish those who love and support you. Pray for the ones who don’t. This is a lot easier said than done. But it’s critical that you are surrounded by people who love and support you. If you ever let someone get comfortable disrespecting you, they take you for granted and they’ll continue disrespecting you. They know that you won’t cut them out of your life so they get worse and worse. Don’t. Let. That. Happen…Ever.
Believe that everything happens for a reason. You may not be able to see it, but that reason is there and this is a storm you must walk through to get to your reward. You are never alone. God is always with you, every step of the way. Keep moving forward.
Take all the chances you can. You may take a chance and lose, but if you don’t try, you’ve already lost.
Sometimes along your life’s journey, someone or something may come along and change your life. Embrace the change. Let it happen. Let it help you grow.
Remember life isn’t a dress rehearsal…we only get one life to live. And sometimes it is really, really hard. But I have found that if you love life, it will love you back. And you’ll find that although life isn’t easy, it is totally worth it.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
