Do you wake up happy? Or are you one of those that needs a wide berth before your first couple cups of coffee? Did you know that one, small positive thought in the morning can change your entire day to a positive day? And that one day can change your week which can change your month. Before you know it, you’ve lived a positive year.
Do you wake up dreading your day? Are you dreading going to work, being around people you really don’t like, doing a job you can’t stand? That is no way to live! Happiness is not a destination, it is the journey.
Always believe that something wonderful is going to happen. Even with all the ups and downs, never take a day for granted. Cherish the little things and hug the ones you love. ~Brigitte Nicole
I work a lot of hours. And everything I do is hard work. From work in my company, to work with my horses, to work on my Facebook page, I work a lot. My husband asked me the other day, “Honey, how…why do you keep working like this? You can take some time off.”
I agreed with him. I knew I could take as much time off as I needed or wanted. But I have this belief in me, this knowing that something wonderful is going to happen because of all my hard work. Wonderful things are happening now and I know that wonderful things are going to continue to happen. And I want to be able to say that I earned every bit of it…every drop of blessing, every iota of good things–I earned them.
Of course, like everyone else, I have bad days. But even during the bad times, I learn. So, never take a day for granted. Each day is an opportunity, a gift to get it right. Each day is a day to work your dreams, to love your family and friends and become the person you want to be. Cherish all the little things. Be grateful for all the little things that people do for you and be grateful for all the little things in your life. Some days it’s the little things that allow me to see that I’ve had a productive day. And never forget to keep those that you love close to your heart. Hug them, tell them you love them and look after them. Life is short. Live it to the max.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
