Good Morning, My Friends! I hope you are having a blessed THANKFUL THURSDAY so far and I pray that your entire day is blessed with God’s blessings, mercy and favor. Make this day count, make it memorable and keep moving forward with God by your side.
I have so, so much to be thankful for. I acknowledge and receive all my blessings and I am so grateful. If you listen to our videos on The Horse Mafia®, you will often hear me say, “I’m the most blessed person I know”. I really mean that. I am truly so blessed.
I woke up. I have clothes to wear. I have running water. I have food to eat. Life is good. I am thankful.
Sure, there are times when I don’t feel very blessed. Times when I’ve somewhat lost my smile and my heart is heavy with life’s issues. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve tried to train my mind to step back away from the problems, take a long, slow look around me and recognize, truly see everyone and everything I am blessed with.
When you can do that, you have more blessed days, more blessed weeks, months, years and a more blessed life. Because the more thankfulness you have in your heart–in your daily living–the more blessed you will become. God will take each small blessing and multiply it over and over again. And then a large blessing will slip in and then another and another.
And sometimes you may have someone in your life that tries to minimize your blessings. You may be talking about how blessed you are or that God has done something for you and they may say something like, “So-and-so has that too…it isn’t that uncommon”. Or something like, “You’re really no different from anyone else. God doesn’t bless you anymore than others”. Don’t listen to those people. Keep being thankful. Keep doing God’s work and watch Him bless you even more right in front of those minimizing you. Sometimes those people are there as blessings too. They are a blessing because you are able to see the difference in a life of thankfulness and a life of jealousy and resentment. Thank God for them. They make sure you stay on the path of thankfulness.
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
