Good Morning & God Bless, My Friends! We are having a blessed THANKFUL THURSDAY here at The Horse Mafia® and I hope you are too. I pray that your entire day is blessed with God’s blessings, mercy and favor. Make this day count, make it memorable and keep moving forward with God by your side.
There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.
No matter what is going on in your life right now, remember that it could be much worse. If you really stop to think about it, several people will come to mind right now that have it worse than you. I understand that you may be going through difficult times, but you have to keep trusting God and believing that He is working things out for your good. And you have to keep being thankful.
Take a step back and look at the big picture. The really big picture. You’ll be able to see that you are surrounded by blessings. Blessings such as a family, people who love you, friends, animals, a home, food, water, clothes, and so many more things.
Each day I am thankful for nights that turned into mornings, friends that turned into family, dreams that turned into reality, and likes that turned into love.
I have my days when I don’t feel very blessed. Times when I’ve somewhat lost my smile and my heart is heavy with life’s issues. Sometimes I seem to have too many of those days. Even several in a row sometimes. But I know that I am still blessed. I still see all the wonderful blessings in my life even on the very worst days. And I am thankful. And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that when I am having several bad days in a row, it is because I have a huge blessing coming. So, I’ve learned to be thankful even on those days.
Don’t listen to those people who try to minimize your life of blessings or who tell you that you aren’t blessed. Keep being thankful. Keep doing God’s work and watch Him bless you even more right in front of those minimizing you. Sometimes those people are there as blessings too. They are a blessing because you are able to see the difference in a life of thankfulness and a life of jealousy and resentment. Thank God for them. They make sure you stay on the path of thankfulness.
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
