Thankful Thursday Hugs

Happy Thankful Thursday, My Friends! I am sending a big, caring hug your way. And, I’m hoping you woke up with a thankful heart.

I feel so blessed to have another Thankful Thursday. God is so good. He wakes me up every morning and I will thank Him and praise Him every single day.

My first blessing of the day, I woke up.

So, this hug I’m sending you is to say, “Good Morning! I am so thankful to be alive today and I want you to know that I am thankful you are alive too!”

No matter how good or bad your life is, wake up each morning and be thankful you still have one.

Take a few moments today and look around you—really, really look. While you are eating your breakfast, look at your family and say a prayer of thanks for them. If you’re having coffee with a friend, say a prayer of thanks for them.

Be thankful for the people God has placed in your life. Each and every one is there for a reason.

Are you blessed to live in a home or an apartment? There are many, many people who don’t have these blessings.

And, physically, you may not be feeling your best, but if you are reading this, you are probably healthy. There are many, many people who are feeling too sick to be here with us.

You made it through the night—God woke you up. Another day to walk with God is a blessing. Time to spend with your family is a blessing. We get another day to breathe. Thank You, God.

I, for one, am thankful for this day. And I am sending you this hug to say, “I am thankful for you.”
