It’s a new beginning today, my friends! We get to start over with a new week. I’m sending Monday Hugs your way. Take as many as you like. With his hug, I am saying to you, “God loves you, He cares for you and He is going to bless your Monday and your new week. He is going to bless you in ways you’ve never known.
We often let Monday bring us down. We’re just not ready to let go of the relaxation, the rest or the time spent with family friends. If we could just stay under the covers for a little longer, perhaps we can make all the wonderful, happy times with family stick around. But the clock keeps going off. You keep hitting the snooze button. Until finally, you’re up, facing Monday and all the wonderful opportunities the day and the new week hold.
No matter how you feel when you wake up, remember, you are blessed just to wake up and have another Monday. Your eyes opened, you are breathing and you get to decide what kind of day, what kind of week you are going to have.
It’s Monday. God is going to do amazing things this week. Get ready.
I once heard someone say, “God gave us Mondays for realignment”. I didn’t understand what he meant so I asked him to tell me what he meant by it.
He said, “Over the weekend, we try to let the stress of the week go and enjoy ourselves…as we should. After a hard work week, we get to relax some and spend some time with family and friends. But then Monday rolls around. And we get to realign ourselves with our goals, our purpose, our walk with God”. I always remember that on Monday mornings when it’s a little hard for me to get out of the covers.
If at any point during the day you feel like you are losing your happiness or your realignment, take a deep breath, say a prayer and remember this big, caring hug. Monday Hugs!
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

Thank you for my Hug, it gives me the courage to go on every day. I praise God for giving me 80 good years of a good life. Today would have been our 58th wedding anniversary but my husband passed away 5 years ago. God needed him more than i did. I thank you Lord Jesus for your love.
