Monday Hugs

Happy New Week, my friends! Happy Monday! You may not have everything you want this morning when you wake up, but you did wake up.

Let’s start the week off with a smile because, after all, we did wake up. That means we are so blessed. Blessed to see another day, another week.

Some people went to bed last night planning their day and planning their week. But they didn’t wake up. They did not make it through the night.

So, no matter how many things are going wrong in your life, remember that we are blessed to simply be here. We are blessed to open our eyes.

One thing that I hope will help start your week off with a smile is a hug. It will get you smiling a little earlier. So, I’m sending Monday hugs your way!

With this hug, I am sending encouragement and I am saying to you, “God loves you, He cares for you and He is going to bless your Monday and your new week.”

I want to pray a simple prayer for your week and send the prayer with your hug. Pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it.

Dear God, We thank you for this new day and this new week. We woke up with a smile because we know You are with us.

May we wake up each morning refreshed from a good night’s rest and may we be thankful for each day’s blessings in the evening.

Lord, thank You for bringing peace to our Communities, Cities, States and across the world. You are the great Healer and Peacemaker.

Remove our fears, place peace in our hearts and increase our faith in You. We are standing on Your promise that You will never leave or forsake us.

Your Word tells us: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. ~Deuteronomy 31:6.

Place a shield of protection around us, our families, our friends and anyone reading this. Keep us all safe this week and guide us away from any danger.

For anyone who is struggling with health problems, touch them with Your healing hands. Remove their pains and give them Your strength to keep going.

Calm the unrest, bring peace to our Lands, keep us safe, keep us vigilant and keep us focused on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. Monday Hugs!
