Happy Father’s Day! Good Morning, my friends! I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! I pray that you woke up to a beautiful, blessed Father’s Day Sunday.
And I pray you feel the blessings of the Lord all day long. I pray that you are able to spend some time with your family and with God.
Our world seems to have been in chaos over the past few months. Our family bonds have been tested as both fathers and mothers have lost their jobs and they don’t see a way of providing for their families.
During times like these it is easy for us to take our eyes off God and give in to the fear and chaos of the pandemic and the unrest.
But don’t do that. I am in no way going to minimize the effect, or the impact of either the virus or the unrest. Both of these situations have changed our world.
Both situations have taken a toll on us as individuals, within our families, and across our States and our Country. Our lives are forever changed by what has happened.
But remember who protects you. Remember who orders His angels to protect you wherever you go.
God will cover you with His protection. He will give you calm in times of chaos and He will bring peace to your heart and home.
For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you, no plague will come near your home. ~Psalm 91:3, 9-10.
With this Father’s Day hug, I am saying, “May God bless you and your family and keep you strong during these hard times”.
And I am praying a simple prayer for our Fathers to be strong and courageous: Dear God, We humbly ask that You provide a shield of protection over us all.
Give our Fathers Your courage, Your strength, Your wisdom and Your guidance to lead our families in the way that You would have us go.
Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. Help us to remember that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.
Bless us so that we may bless others and let us serve as Your light so that others may find their way in these dark times. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer. Father’s Day Sunday hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
