Tuesday Hugs-August 11, 2020

It’s going to be a beautiful Tuesday! Good Morning and God Bless You, My Friends! I pray you woke up ready to begin your day and ready for another day with God in control.

I think we all have a lot going on. And it’s understandable that our stress level is high with what’s going on in our Country. And you may have additional things going on that create even more stress.

But, for just a few seconds, slow down, breathe and let this hug lower your stress level a little bit. Let it sink into you and bring a smile to your face and peace to your heart.

God doesn’t want you to live in a state of chaos and worry. He wants you to rely on Him to handle all your problems.

With this hug, I am saying, “May God bless your day with His joy and peace. May you feel His love surround you and may you feel His protection throughout your day”.

I also wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings I am sending with it.

Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful gift of a new day. We are grateful You woke us up on this second Tuesday of August.

Lord, for everyone reading this, reach down and touch them in every part of their lives. Restore health, restore finances and restore jobs.

Please bring a complete end to this health crisis. We know you can completely remove it from this earth. And that is what we need. We need the exposure and sickness removed.

Please heal the Cities who are still dealing with unrest. Heal the division and protect the people who live there and who have businesses in those Cities.

Lord, we would not be here without You. We have all been through so much over the past few months. But we know You have brought us through and You will continue to protect us.

For everyone reading this, visit their homes today and leave with them Your blessings of joy and happiness. Let each person know that You are with them.

Guide our footsteps away from danger and protect us from anyone or anything that would do us harm. Increase our faith in You and renew our hope.

Keep our eyes and our hearts focused on You. May we seek to know Your purpose for our lives and may we always strive to follow Your plan and wait on Your timing.

Take away our worries and anxieties and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
