It’s our favorite day, my friends! Good Morning, Happy Friday and Happy Valentine’s Day Weekend! I pray today is a beautiful start to a beautiful weekend.
No matter what happens today, don’t let anyone bring you down. Keep smiling, keep moving forward, keep trusting God and His plan for your life.
I’m sending Friday hugs your way. All hugs are special, but these are even more special since they are sent to start your Valentine’s Day Weekend off with a smile.
I want to pray a short prayer for your day. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God hears our prayers, He is faithful and He is in control.
Dear God, This Friday is a gift from You. It is so wonderful to wake up knowing that You’ve given me another day to live. You’ve brought us through another week and we are thankful.
I believe You are hearing our prayers. You hear us when we can only shed tears because You know our hearts. You hear us when we are able to say the words and You hear us when we are not able to get any words out.
And You hear us when we speak words of pain, words of hope and when we tell You what we need. We need You in every part of our lives. And we are so glad we can go to You in prayer.
We ask You to restore our health, our homes, our jobs and everything we’ve lost.
We will keep our eyes focused on You and not let all the chaos of the world enter our hearts and minds. We want to trust You on the bad days as well as the good days.
Heal everyone who is sick and suffering. Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses that we are dealing with.
Remove our worries, anxieties and fears. We want our trust to be so strong in You, that fear cannot enter our hearts.
Bless all of us economically and financially. Restore jobs and provide opportunities for people who are out of work.
Be with us all today and this weekend and strengthen our faith in You. Make this Valentine’s Day Weekend one that is filled with love from our spouses/significant others, our family and friends.
Renew our hope and recharge our soul. May we all love each other the way You have loved us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Even though I am not with you physically, I pray that you feel this hug and the blessings sent with it. This hug is caring and meant especially for you. Friday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

I really needed this today. Without too much of a sob story, this weekend through V day is usually terrible for me. My daughter would have been 14 on the 15th, but this year is even worse. In my life I have been fortunate enough to have 3 dads and 2 moms. In the past 5 years I’ve lost my bio dad and one of my bonus dads. In the past almost 2 weeks, the only dad I have left contracted Covid-19 for the second time On top of other medical conditions and this time they are saying he isn’t going to make it and has been put into the hospice unit until he passes. I can’t wrap my mind around it and I keep telling myself that this is God’s will but that doesn’t make the pain any less.
So I really needed the hug today and to hear or read these words.
Thank You so much even if it weren’t meant specifically for me, it found me.

I don’t believe in luck or chance. The prayer and hug were meant to find you and I am so glad.
I am praying for your dad and I am praying for you.
God bless you.
