It’s our favorite day, my friends! Good Morning and Happy Friday! It’s our last Friday of June and it is going to be a wonderful, blessed day. God is good, all the time. I pray this Friday is a beautiful start to a beautiful weekend. We are moving quickly into July and it is a beautiful Summer!
Remember this today: You are a child of God today like you are any other day and this day is going to be blessed because God is looking out for you. God is making a way for you.
I’m sending Friday hugs your way. I hope you are able to reach out and grab one. Don’t let them pass you by because these hugs are meant to make you smile.
Will you pray a short prayer with me to bless your day? When you pray, believe that God hears our prayers, He is faithful and He is in control.
Dear God, This Friday is a gift from You. We are so thankful our names were on the wake up list. No matter what happens today, we will stay in Your peace. And we will take Your peace into the weekend with us.
We thank You for the gift of prayer. We would be lost if we weren’t able to pray and know that You hear our prayers.
We know that You know what we need and when we need it. We are trusting in You and standing on Your promises that You are blessing us and will continue to bless us.
We are learning to wait on You, Lord. We have seen that You are working things out for us. Forgive us when we don’t wait on You, when we are impatient and when we lose hope.
Show us ways to help one another and, when we can, give to and bless others. Let us be a light so that others may find You.
Remove worry, anxiety and chaos from our lives. We cannot focus on You if we do not have peace in our hearts. Guide our feet away from trouble, harm and chaos.
Heal our bodies and remove all pain and suffering. Heal those suffering with cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses that we are dealing with.
Lord, many families are having a hard time financially. A lot of families cannot get ahead. Provide for these families and abundantly bless them.
Open doors of opportunity and give us jobs better than we’ve ever known. And close those doors, Lord, that may open into danger and harm.
Be with us all today and this weekend and strengthen our faith in You. Renew our hope and recharge our soul.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
