Poof! That’s the way time flies! It seems like it was only yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas of 2016. And now, it’s Christmas 2017 and we’re moving quickly into 2018.
Many unexpected things happened this year too. I lost loved ones and friends to sudden illness or accidents. I can’t tell you how many emails I’ve received this year about the sudden loss of a loved one or friend. Each message had the same theme: So fast, so unexpected, I wish we had had more time together.
In the blink of an eye, everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You may never know when you may not have that chance again. ~Unknown
Love one another with all your heart. Forgive each other and never go to bed angry. All families have disagreements. All families argue and fight. But no matter what, don’t let disagreements or arguments tear you apart. Don’t let something fester until your heart is hardened and there is unforgiveness in your family. Because life is fast, there are no rewinds and you can’t press pause. Life changes in an instant. And there’s nothing we can do about it.
Do you believe in Christmas miracles? I do! With God, all things are possible. And at Christmas, the hope and faith in our hearts make us all believe just a little bit more. Christmas is that way. It makes us feel different, better, stronger. And Christmas makes us want to be with the ones we love.
Let the Christmas spirit help you let go of the negative things you are holding in your heart. Forgive. Let your family and friends know that you love them and you want a stronger relationship with them.
