Good Morning, My Friends. It’s a beautiful Friday and it’s Veterans Day Weekend! It’s a day and weekend of gratitude, a day of honor and a day of thankfulness.
Veterans Day is the day we remember and send up a prayer of thanks for all those who have served our Country.
Thank You, Lord, for our Veterans!
With this hug, I am saying, “For all the Veterans, may God hold them close to His heart. And May God let all their families know how brave, strong and courageous their loved ones have been”.
I also wanted to send a short, simple prayer with this hug. Pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:
Dear God, Thank You for letting us see another Veterans Day Weekend. We are thankful to have a day of honor and gratitude for all the Heroes who have so sacrificed so much.
We are so blessed to live in a free Country. We are able to live the way we want to, worship the way we want to, go where we want to go and do the things we want to do.
Lord, we know that freedom isn’t free. Many have sacrificed so much to keep us safe and free. We are so thankful to them and we are thankful to You for their bravery and courage.
As we go about our days, we sometimes forget that we are free because of others’ bravery. But, may we always try to remember that others have sacrificed so much to keep us living in freedom.
Let today be a day that brings Your people together. Bring families together, friends together and may we all meet a stranger today and share Your love with them.
Take away our sadness and give us Your peace and comfort. We know that You love us and You are making a way for us. You are giving us new opportunities and opening doors that no man can shut.
Touch us all with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus, addiction and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Financially heal our families and make a way for them to abundantly provide for their loved ones.
May we never forget that freedom isn’t free and we are the Land of the free because of the brave. We are the Land of opportunity and realized dreams because of the brave.
Be with my family and friends today and let them feel Your presence. Make our Veterans Day Friday a beautiful, blessed day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Whenever you need a hug today, I hope you’ll remember this one. Veterans Day Weekend Hugs! Friday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
