Life just seems to be better when you have good friends to share it with. They make us laugh more, laugh louder and laugh longer. I have one friend whose laugh is so funny, I laugh at her laugh more than what she says or does. Everyone does. We can be in a large, crowded room and when she laughs, people stop to laugh at her laugh. And that makes her laugh more and then everyone else laughs more. How can you feel bad when someone like this is around you?

Have you ever lost your smile and a friend was there to find it for you? We all get down and need a pick-me-up sometimes. We need a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, a hug, words of encouragement or a little inspiration. Good friends bring your smile back and make you smile even bigger! And good friends know when you are smiling through pain. Everyone else make look at you and think that you don’t have a care in the world, but good friends know that your smile means you’re strong and working through some issues with a smile on your face!
All-in-all, friends just make life better. Plain and simple. Unless you’re a loner and want to spend all your time alone, we need friends. Friends who understand us, who motivate us, who inspire us, who care for us. That’s what life is all about. Caring for others and giving more than you take.
