Good Morning, My Friends! I hope you are having a blessed weekend and I pray your Sunday is peaceful, calm and spent with God and those you love.
You are going to meet a lot of mean and disrespectful people in your life. Don’t let them hurt you. Don’t let their bitter and evil words break the surface of your skin. Keep your dignity, remain true to yourself, and be the better person. They need help. It’s not up to you to fix them or put up with them. Just smile and walk away.
You cannot help how people treat you. You cannot help how people disrespect you. But you can choose how you respond to it. You can even choose to smile as you walk away.
This takes practice. But when you have mastered how to remain calm during chaotic and stressful times, you have learned one of life’s greatest lessons.
People will often look for conflict, and if they can’t find it, they create it. And the persons creating the hurt and conflict may be family members or very close friends. Let them live in their manic, drama-filled world. Walk away from them. Yes, even if they are family. Walk away. You cannot allow your heart to be used and abused in order for someone else to be happy. Walk away. They are not worth your peace of mind.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is love people from a distance. You don’t have to be mean to them and you don’t have to try to get them back. God takes care of people who harm His children. God will bless you in the midst of their chaos, confusion and stress.
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
