Good Morning, My Friends! I hope you are having a blessed THANKFUL THURSDAY so far and I pray that your entire day is blessed with God’s blessings, mercy and favor. God is so good. All the time.
My thankfulness was tested this week. As some of you know, we went out to Wyoming for Frontier Days. It was a wonderful time. We went to the rodeo, took in a concert and got to be around people in the rodeo and horse world. It was wonderful. After we returned home, I was just so tired. I couldn’t see all the blessings around me because I was so physically and mentally drained.
I had to give myself a mental kick in the behind. I am so blessed. I came home to 11 wonderful horses, 4 sweet babies (Solomon, Chloe, Fifi and Katie) and all the blessings of my home and farm. The babies were so happy to see us and loved on us like we had been gone for years. I got down in the floor and acted crazy with them and they just loved it.
Even when you’re tired and not feeling your best, thank God. On all the good days, on all the bad days and all the so-so-so days. Thank Him. Because things could be a lot worse. A whole lot worse.
Being thankful is a way of life. It’s being thankful that you woke up, thankful that you have a home, food, water and clothes to wear. It means you are thankful for just being here. You are thankful for life. It means you are thankful for the little things, as well as the big things. Living a thankful life means that even though your circumstances are bad, you are still thankful. You are thankful that better days are coming and God has a miracle for you.
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
