Good Morning, my friends. It’s Holy Tuesday! I pray you have a positive day filled with happy moments, kindness and love. We also call this day of the week “ChooseDay”. So, choose to trust in God and keep the faith during our blessed Holy Week.
Monday through Wednesday of Holy Week are the days less talked about, but what happens on each of those days is all part of God’s plan for His Son, Jesus, to ultimately be crucified and resurrected.
God is with you, no matter where you are. No matter if you are home, going into work, at school, out running errands or anywhere else, God is with you.
No matter where we are, we can praise God and thank Him for sending His son to us to live, to die and to be resurrected.
Sometimes, during Holy Week, I find myself just thinking about Christ’s journey and I find myself crying. Every minute, every second that Jesus spent, from his ride on a donkey into Jerusalem until His resurrection was part of God’s plan.
And Jesus knew it. He knew he was working God’s plan and preparing to die for us. No greater love will ever be known.
Tuesday before Jesus was crucified and resurrected, Jesus told His Disciples to have faith and pray. And He said that if they would believe, they would receive whatever they asked for in prayer. ~Matthew 21:21-22.
On Tuesday Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Back at the Temple, religious leaders were upset that Jesus had established himself as a spiritual authority and they planned an ambush.
But, Jesus evaded their traps. Tuesday was also the day that Judas Iscariot made the decision to betray Jesus.
With this hug, I am sending you encouragement to keep the faith. No matter what, don’t give up, keep praying and keep believing. I wanted to pray a short, simple prayer to increase our faith.
Dear God, Please bless our Holy Tuesday. We thank You for sending Your Son to live, die and be resurrected. We don’t know where we’d be without Jesus.
Lord, we know You are here with us and we know You are in control. We pray for increased faith. Remove our doubts, our worries and our anxieties and help us to place all our trust in You.
We sometimes go through hard times and we start to lose our faith. Always remind us that our faith is made stronger during the hard times if we’ll only trust in You.
Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, liver disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Give us a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
As you go through your Holy Tuesday today, remember this big, caring hug. Holy Tuesday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
