Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you stressed out, finding it difficult to get all the bills paid, take care of the kids, take care of the animals and try to be present in a relationship? Or are work things making you crazy?
Let Go and Let God.
Today’s world is so chaotic. Family responsibilities and work responsibilities often weigh us down, create anxiety and depression and can lead to a general, overall unhealthy lifestyle.
But we can’t let the weight of our worries outweigh our knowledge and trust in God to take care of us and our families. God loves for us to depend on Him to take care of us. He loves for us to place such trust in Him that we have no worries and no anxiety about the future. He loves for us to rely upon Him and trust that the bills will get paid, the kids will get taken care of and your relationships will be strengthened.
Be Still and know that I am God. ~Psalm 46:10
While we must fulfill our family and work responsibilities, we must realize that living in this world of uncertainties, we will continually be challenged. But we cannot rely upon ourselves. Personal initiative, hard work, perseverance and determination are nothing if you first do not rely upon God.
So when it seems like the world is crumbling around you, Be Still–not because of self-made confidence or strength, not because you are the most composed person in the face of adversity, and not because “you’ve been there, done that”.
Be Still because of what you know about God. Know that He is God. Not only intellectually, but practically, spiritually and emotionally. He is your God. He is the ruler of kingdoms, the Creator of the Universe. He’s got you. Be Still and know that He is God. Let Go And Let God. Give it all to Him.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
