Yes, my friends. It is Monday. But you woke up and that makes it a blessed Monday. I’m sending Monday hugs your way, my friend. We are going through difficult times, but things are going to get better.
Let your faith be stronger than your fear. Let your trust in God remove your worries. Let your hope remove all doubt. Where there is faith and hope, miracles happen.
With his hug, I am saying to you, “God loves you, He cares for you and He is going to bless your Monday and your new week.”
With all the fears and worries over the Coronavirus, it is easy to let panic into our hearts. It is easy to let our faith slip and begin to question God. But, where there is God, panic is stomped out. Psalm 91 speaks of God’s protection for His children.
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. ~Psalm 91:2-3.
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. ~Psalm 91:9-10.
You may not have felt your best when you woke up this morning. Oftentimes, our sleep is not restful when we are worried. And we have been worried about the Coronavirus. So, we go through a cycle of worrying during the day and, when we try to rest, we are still worried.
I know it is hard, but try to calm your heart and mind. One of our public health recommendations is to get enough rest. Sleep helps build your immune system and you need a strong immune system to fight the Coronavirus.
We are going to make it through this. God is going to bring us out of this dark time and we will be made stronger. Just try to be calm, keep washing those hands, try not to touch your face and keep believing!
Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. Monday Hugs!
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
