Monday Hugs

We’re so blessed to wake up this morning. Happy, beautiful Monday! I pray you had a blessed and wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend.

God is going to bless our day and our week. Decide right now that today and this week are going to be great. Decide that no matter what happens, you will stay in God’s peace.

I’m sending Monday hugs your way, my friend. With this hug, I am saying, “Keep the faith, make this week count and God loves you”.

Some areas across the Country and World are beginning to open back up today. This is true for my area in Alabama. We are beginning to open, slowly but surely.

There is still some chaos out there, my friends. Some think we should stay home and others think we should begin to open back up.

Don’t let all the chaos and confusion enter your mind and heart. Pray, listen to what your local leaders are saying and then you make the decision on when it is right for you.

I want to pray a simple prayer for this week: Dear God, We thank You for a beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend. Although some of us could not be with our Mothers, we still let them know how much we love them.

We thank You for this new day, this new week. Thank You for waking us up and letting us start anew with this Monday.

Take away our worries and fears about reopening our Country and our local areas. Help us to trust in You because everything works for our good in Your timing.

Millions of people are out of work and are worried about how they are going to make it. Provide for them and their families and make a way for them.

Keep a roof over their heads and food on their tables. May we all help each other and give to each other as we can.

For those who are still suffering from the virus, heal their bodies and make their recovery fast. Bless all the healthcare providers who continue to be on the frontlines caring for Your people.

We know that You are able to do all things. We ask You to heal us in every way. Heal us physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and economically.

We thank You for bringing us through these times. We are forever thankful. In Jesus’ name, we pray.  Amen.

Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. Monday Hugs!
