Monday Hugs

Good Day and Happy First Monday of August, my friends! We woke up blessed because we woke up to see a new day and a new week.

No matter what happens today or this week, choose to see your blessings. Don’t let negative people or negative situations bring you down. God has you.

I’m sending Monday hugs your way. We all need a hug to start our week off with a smile. So, even if you’re not fully awake yet, reach out and grab a hug!

With this hug, I hope you can feel the encouragement I am sending with it. This hug is to say, “You’re going to make it. No matter what trials you are facing, God is going to bring you through”.

I always try to send a prayer with your hug. I pray because I truly believe in the power of prayer. I believe we have a direct line to God through prayer in Jesus’ name.

So, I want to pray a simple prayer for your week and send the prayer with your hug. Pray this prayer with me, believe, and receive the blessings sent with it.

Dear God, We thank You for waking us up. We are thankful that You woke us up and let us see this first Monday of August 2020 and this new week.

We are standing on Psalm 41:10: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. ~Psalm 46:1. Let this beautiful verse sink in.

God, we know this means that You will not leave us. You are always with us. Always. And we must never, ever forget that because You want us to rely on Him.

Place a shield of protection around each one of us and our families and friends. Guide us away from danger, protect our thoughts and actions and place Your joy in our hearts and homes.

We ask You to bring a complete end to this pandemic and continue bringing peace and calm back to our Cities across this Country.

For anyone sick and suffering, please touch them with Your healing hands. Remove our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual pains. Restore our health in all areas of our lives.

We love You, Lord, we trust in You and we are going to live each day of this week for Your glory. We will use Your love in our hearts to make this world a better place.

Keep us vigilant as we continue to keep ourselves and others safe. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Today, whenever you need a hug, remember that this one is here for you. And remember that God loves you, cares for you and He will never leave you. Monday Hugs!
