Mother’s Day Sunday Hugs-May 9, 2021

Happy Mother’s Day! Good Morning, my friends! Happy Sunday! It’s going to be a beautiful Mother’s Day. God is going to bless us, our families and the time we spend together.

I’m sending Mother’s Day hugs your way! This hug is to bring you encouragement and to say, “God loves you, He cares for you, He is with you and He will never leave you”.

I wanted to pray a simple prayer and send it with this Mother’s Day hug. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings sent with it:

Dear God, Thank You for waking us up to this beautiful Mother’s Day Sunday. And thank You for all our wonderful Mothers.

Some of us can be with our mothers today and some cannot. For those who are able to spend time with their mothers, bless this time together. Bring happiness, joy and peace to their day and their lives.

For those who cannot be with their mothers today, remind them of all the good times and make their celebration of their mothers happy and joyous.

We pray for all the Mothers who do whatever it takes to care for their children and provide a nurturing, caring and loving environment for their children to grow up in.

Even in the best of times, it is hard work.  And it has been even harder for our Mothers who, over the past fourteen months have remained strong and provided a positive, nurturing environment for their children.

These are Mothers who have prayed without ceasing for their families, mothers who have become impromptu teachers and counselors.

These are Mothers who have tried to work from home while they are also caring for children. These Mothers are Superheroes and we thank You for each and every one.

Many mothers are working out of the home and still providing a loving, caring, nurturing environment for their children and families.

Please reach down Your healing hands and touch all our mothers and their families. Remove cancer, diabetes, liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.

And we pray for our mothers to be renewed in You. Renew their hope and trust in You and strengthen their trust in You.

For all the mothers who are separated from their families on Mother’s Day, please wrap them in Your loving arms and let them know they are not alone.

Be with all our mothers and their families this week and make this a week of happiness, peace and joy. Guide our footsteps and draw us closer to You.

Make today, this beautiful Sunday, a beautiful Mother’s Day. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
