Good Palm SundayMorning, my friends! This is a blessed day. It marks the beginning of the last week of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry.
Believe with me that God is going to bless our day. No matter what you have going on, try to give all your worries to God and focus on this sacred, blessed day, Palm Sunday.
I’m sending out Palm Sunday Hugs to you! I pray that this hug brings a smile to your face and peace to your heart. And I pray that you reach out and get one of these hugs whenever you need it.
We have so much to be thankful for today. God has brought us through many troubles and trials. Sometimes, because we go through things daily, we forget just how many trials He helps us through.
Remember that God is in control. He is still on the throne and He is still with us. He is going to continue to protect us, to comfort us and make a way for us.
Remember what Palm Sunday is all about. Just think, if Christ had not entered Jerusalem, the last week of His life would have been different.
Knowing that He was riding into Jerusalem to carry out His Father’s plan for all mankind made this the most important donkey ride in history.
Jerusalem is where He was supposed to go, because this day would lead to His suffering, His death and His resurrection:
They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel! ~John 12:13.
With this hug, I am praying a simple prayer that you feel peace and calm during your Palm Sunday:
Dear God, We humbly ask that You bring peace and calm to our hearts on this blessed day, Palm Sunday.
Let Your peace replace our worries and fears. Help us to remember that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.
Reach down and touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, lung disease, kidney disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are suffering with.
Bless us so that we may bless others and let us serve as Your light so that others may find their way to You in their troubled times.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this Palm Sunday hug and this prayer.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
