Mother’s Day can be a wonderful time of the year, but it can also be sad. Some people struggle with memories of their Mothers who have passed on. The sadness they feel in their hearts overrides the joy of Mother’s Day.
Whether your Mother has been gone a short period or for many years, this can be a hard time. You want to be happy for everyone else who is celebrating with their Mother, but you find it so hard to do because you are missing your Mother so much.
The one thing that has helped me the most has been prayer. Prayer is a powerful weapon God gave to us. I don’t know where I would be without prayer and my faith that have brought me through many hard times.
I pray for peace in my heart and soul and I pray for God to comfort me during the hard times. Prayer can bring you a level of comfort that is far above what any material things can do for you.
So, I want to say a prayer for you, all of you, who may be missing your Mother. I pray that if you are hurting and missing your mother, that this prayer, in some small way, helps you and brings peace to your heart.
Dear Heavenly Father, It’s hard for many right now because their hearts are broken. They can’t feel the joy and happiness of Mother’s Day since they lost their Mother.
With the added pressure of staying at home and not being able to visit extended family, this Mother’s Day is especially hard. Many are just feeling empty.
You promise to be near the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Keep them all close to You and heal their wounds. Give them peace, and lead them to comfort. Help them find refreshment for their souls.
Let them know that they are not alone. Let them feel Your presence and Your loving care.
Send to them gifts of Your love and let them feel hope in their hearts. Take away their sadness and replace it with Your joy. Be with them this Mother’s Day! In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Amen. Thank you so much for lifting us in prayer. My mother passed away 2 days before Mothers day 2018. This majes 2years. Ir does not feel the same. While I thank God she no longer suffers and I know she is in her heavenly home and has peace our hearts hurt and we grieve still, but my grief is love for her forever. To God Be The Glory, Amen.

Thank you for sharing. I lost mother. You see I had a serious car accident. Back in March 11 of 08. And shortly after I got out of the hospital. My past away from heart disease and bladder cancer. As you can probably guess. I took it hard. She was like best friends. I miss her so bad.

Thankful for this beautiful Mother’s Day post! It’s like a oxymoron day for me ! I don’t wish others losing their mother, I’m also not jealous! Plz., enjoy every moment with your mom! I lost my mom three yrs ago on May 3rd! So holidays are bittersweet! 💗😥 It doesn’t help that my man ms house is across the street! But my baby sis and I took care of her for 5 yrs after a massive stroke! Then 2 kinds of dementia set it! Some days were hard but we wouldn’t give anything for the good times we had! Last memories were part of the best we ever had!! 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏to all Mother’s and I pray for those that get to visit theirs! Remember, even if you don’t get along with yours go over and brighten her day! Take her fav., flowers and food! Make the best of it!
