Saturday Hugs-May 1, 2021

Good Morning and Happy Saturday, my friends!  It’s the first day of May and let’s pray right now that your weekend is blessed and filled with God’s every perfect gift from above.

God brought us through the week and woke us up to see this beautiful weekend. Let’s praise and thank Him for all His goodness today.

I’m sending Saturday hugs your way. This hug is to say that God loves you, cares for you, protects you, wants to see you blessed, and wants to see you happy.

And I am sending a little prayer with your hug. Please pray this prayer with me. And when you pray, believe that God hears our prayers and He is still on the throne.

Dear God, We thank You for waking us up today, for letting us see this new day and this new weekend. We are so happy to be entering the beautiful month of May. We thank you for warmer days, bright skies and beautiful May flowers.

Lord, we want to keep You in the center of our lives. We don’t want to ever take a single blessing, a single answered prayer or a single day for granted. We pray to always, always, give You honor and praise for our lives.

We are all praying for a touch from You, Lord. Reach down and touch every single person who is praying this prayer.

We need to feel Your touch in every part of our lives. We need You to restore our health, our jobs, our families and our faith in You.

Heal our bodies with Your healing hands. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are dealing with.

We claim and receive the blessings You are sending for our weekend, Lord. We accept Your blessings of happiness, peace, joy and renewed energy.

Lord, please send Your angels to guard and protect us. Place Your shields around us and push back anyone or anything that would do us harm.

We know that You are ending the health crisis. We know it has been You that has brought us through troubled times and we know that You will continue to carry us through.

Thank You for restoring peace to our hearts, our homes, our communities, States and all across our Country. May we be peacemakers and help take peace everywhere we go.

We know, Lord, that it is important for us to feel peace and calm in our hearts, our homes, and all spaces in which we spend our time. We cannot focus on You if we live a chaotic life.

Let only positive people and energy enter our homes. Remove all negativity from our spaces and dispel drama before it finds us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
