This Sunday is a beautiful gift from God. Believe it. You woke up, you are breathing, you are alive and well and I am thankful you are here.
Good Morning and Happy Sunday, my friends. It is a day of remembrance because it is September 11th.
I’m privileged to be able to share a few minutes with you this morning. God gave us this time together and I am thankful.
I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! Let this hug put a smile on your face and peace in your heart. I’m sending it to say, “God loves you and cares for you”.
Always remember: Therefore we do not lose heart. ~2 Corinthians 4:16.
Do not be anxious about anything. ~Philippians 4:6.
God is our refuge and our strength, an ever present help in trouble. ~Psalm 46:1
I will fear no evil, for you are with me, ~Psalm 23.
With this hug, I am praying and sending the prayer with your hug:
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this new Sunday. We thank You for Your peace as we remember a sad time in our history, September 11th.
But we know that You are on the throne, You are in control and You will give us Your peace. Thank You, Lord.
Place a shield of protection around us, our families and our friends.
Go before us and make the rough roads smooth. Show us a way around any obstacles and strengthen us with Your strength and perseverance.
For anyone who is sick and suffering, touch them with Your healing hands. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Restore good health to our bodies, our emotions, our spirits and our finances.
Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. We know that You are with us, that You’ve never left us and You never will.
Help us be a blessing to others. Remind us to treat each other with kindness and let us reflect Your love each day. Let us serve as a light for others to be brought to You.
We especially pray for families of the victims who were lost on September 11, 2001. Always keep them close to You and meet their needs.
We remember and honor all the First Responders who selflessly saved people, and in so doing, lost their own life. And we thank You for saving those who saved others and made it out themselves.
We pray that You continue to protect our Country and keep us safe.
Be with us each day this week. We want to keep our eyes and hearts focused on You and we want to draw closer to You. Guide our footsteps away from drama and negativity and surround us with positive, happy people.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
