It’s going to be a beautiful day! Good Morning! Happy Sunday! I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you. I hope you are able to catch a hug and feel its love.
This Sunday may be like the past few weeks for you. Your Churches still closed? All businesses except the “essential” ones closed? Your favorite Sunday dinner restaurant still closed?
Yeah, mine too. All of the above. But I have hope. And I have faith and believe that things are slowly changing for the better.
Soon, we’ll be able to leave our homes to worship if we want to, we’ll be able to eat Sunday dinner together or just get together and make beautiful memories.
I thank God that He is bringing us out of this. That He has kept us safe, protected and in His care. We’ve had food to eat, water to drink and shelter.
With this hug, I am sending you encouragement. I am saying, “Just a few more days. We can do it. Stay at home until you know for sure that it is safe for you to leave.”
Remember that God is always with you: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord your
God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. ~Deuteronomy 31:6.
I wanted to send you a short, simple prayer to give you encouragement and hope for your week: Dear God, We thank You for protecting us during this pandemic. We know that it is You who has brought us to this point.
Be with us this week and keep us all safe and free from harm. Take away our fears as we begin to move back into our workplaces, our worship places, our restaurants and all other public spaces.
Give us Your peace and help us to remember that You are with us. We know that You are in control, You can heal Your people, our Country and the world.
Continue to give Your strength to all the healthcare providers and they continue to care for those who are sick and suffering, In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray this prayer for you and I ask God for your healing. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
