It’s going to be a blessed Thankful Thursday, my friends. It’s not only Thankful Thursday, but it also the first day of Autumn! Good Morning. I pray your day is blessed with God’s grace, mercy and favor.
As you wake and grab a cup of coffee and begin to read this blog, make sure you’ve thanked God for waking you up today. Because it’s a privilege to wake up. A lot of people went to bed last night expecting to wake up, but they didn’t.
I want to pray a short prayer for our Thankful Thursday. Please pray with me, believe in God and the power of prayer and receive the blessings that are coming with your hugs.
Dear God, Thank You for waking us up on this beautiful Thankful Thursday and first day of Autumn. We know that each day is a gift from you and our first blessing of each day is that we wake up.
Thank You for bringing us through Summer and waking us up to see the first day of our Autumn Season. We are excited for new beginnings and new opportunities.
We know that it was You who breathed life into us this morning. And you’ve given us this day so that we can live it for Your glory. We thank You for each moment in this day.
Lord, during the Autumn Season, place a shield of protection around us and order Your angels to guide our footsteps. Give us Your strength, Your kindness and Your love and may we treat everyone we meet with these blessings from You.
May we never take our blessings for granted. We have our problems, Lord, but we choose to focus on our blessings instead of our problems. We choose to see the good in each and every day.
We are thankful for our blessings of good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things in our life that make our life so beautiful.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.
Reach down and touch us with Your healing hands. Remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Lord, we cannot make it without You in our lives. We wouldn’t be here today without You.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thankful for waking me up this morning so many laid down last night and didn’t wake up this morning. I give God all the grace and mercy for all that he does for me.
