Good Morning, My Friends! Happy Thankful Thursday! It’s our first Thursday of August and I pray you woke up thankful for life, with hope in your heart and happiness in your soul.
I’m sending Thankful Thursday hugs your way. So, let’s shake off our sleepiness, grab a cup of coffee and reach out to grab one of these hugs. They are coming at you pretty fast, so don’t let them pass you by.
I want to pray a prayer for our Thankful Thursday. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We know each day is a gift from You and we are grateful that You opened our eyes this morning and we are alive and well.
Lord, thank You for bringing us through hard times. Some of us may feel that we are still in hard times and we can’t seem to find our way out of darkness.
But, we know You are still on the throne and we are going to keep our eyes focused on You. We are going to trust You and keep Your hope alive in our hearts.
Lord, we are standing on Your promises in Psalm 9:10: And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. ~Psalm 9:10.
Let everyone who is going through hard times, feel You say to them, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” ~James 4:8.
For anyone who has lost loved ones be comforted by You and may they feel You with them in their time of need.
Heal our bodies and restore good health to us. Heal us from cancer, diabetes, lupus, liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Bring peace to our homes, our hearts and our lives. No matter how difficult our days may be, help us to trust that You are working things out for us and You will make a way.
Many people praying this prayer have lost loved ones. Please be with each one and hold them close to Your heart. Give them Your comfort and let them know that You love them.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I am saying “I am thankful for you”. May God bless you and fill your heart with thankfulness, peace and happiness. Thankful Thursday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love, gratitude and prayer from Sterrett, Alabama!
