Thankful Thursday Hugs

Happy Thankful Thursday, My Friends! I am sending a big, caring hug your way. And, I’m hoping you woke up with a thankful heart.

I feel so blessed to have another Thankful Thursday. God is so good. He wakes me up every morning and I will thank Him and praise Him every single day.

Upon waking, let your first thought be, Thank You.

So, this hug I’m sending you is to say, “Good Morning! I am so thankful to be alive today and I want you to know that I am thankful you are alive too!”

No matter how good or not-so-good your life may be, there are many more who would look at your life and wish it for themselves. Look around you and really see all the blessings you have.

When you look around you, you will see many things that sometimes you may take for granted. Things like your home, your clothes, your warm bed, food, and water.

Physically, you may not be feeling your best, but if you are reading this, you are probably healthy. There are many, many people who are feeling too sick to be here with us.

We went to bed last night with the thought that we would wake up and start another day like usual. And we woke up. But others did not. Some people didn’t make it through the night.

But you did. You made it—you woke up. Another day to walk with God is a blessing. Time to spend with your family is a blessing. We get another day to breathe. Thank You, God.

I, for one, am thankful for this day. And I am sending you this hug to say, “I am thankful for you.”
