Thankful Thursday Hugs

I’m sending out Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS, My Friends! With this big, caring hug, I pray that you smile. Tuck it safely into your heart. If something happens today and you feel you need another hug, remember that this hug is there—in your heart.

I feel blessed to have another Thankful Thursday. It’s not just any old day, you know. It is a gift from God. It is another twenty-four hours to try to be better than I was yesterday.

A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy. The moment you start acting like life is a blessing, I assure you, it will start to feel like one.

I have some things I could complain about. But, I am going to focus on the positive and keep moving forward. My life is in no way perfect, but I am truly, truly blessed.

I don’t have to look very far to see blessings. They are all around me. I always say, “I am the most blessed person I know.” And I really mean that.

Each day I am thankful for nights that turned into mornings, friends that turned into family, dreams that turned into reality and likes that turned into love.

We made it through the middle of the week and God has opened our eyes to another Thankful Thursday. Thank You, God, for waking me up! Thank you for letting me have another twenty-four hours to walk with You and do everything I can to help others.

Make the day count, my friends. Don’t take a single moment for granted.

And I am sending you this Thankful Thursday hug to say, “I am thankful for you.” I truly am. God has placed you in my life too. And I consider you a true blessing. I hope I can, in some small way, be a blessing to you.
