Good Day, my friends! It’s our first Thankful Thursday of August 2020 and I, for one, am thankful that God woke me up to see this beautiful gift from God.
I’m sending out Happy Thankful Thursday HUGS. I pray you are able to get one of these hugs and feel the blessings sent with it.
Don’t get so caught up in getting your day’s work done that you forget to be thankful for everyone and everything you have in your life.
God has given us so much to be thankful for. God has kept us and our families safe during the past few months and most of us are able to get out and do some things we want to do.
That’s a lot to be thankful for. God has brought us this far and He will carry us all the way through. Keep believing that better days are coming.
Keep trusting in God and keep trusting in His timing. We still to need be vigilant. We must do everything we can to keep ourselves, our families and others safe.
I want to pray a short, simple prayer for our Thankful Thursday. Please pray this prayer with me and believe that God is working things out for us.
Dear God, Thank You for this beautiful Thankful Thursday. We are thankful You woke us up. We see this day and each day as a gift from You and we are so thankful.
We are all thankful for our many blessings. We thank You for good health for our families, our friends, our freedom and all the little things that make our lives so blessed.
Most of all, we are thankful that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, so that our sins may be forgiven and we may live eternally.
No matter what we are going through, may we remember that God has not left us and we all have a choice to be thankful. We can choose to give You thanks.
Heal our Country with Your healing hands. Bring a complete end to the health crisis and bring peace to our Cities, States and our Country.
Today, be with my family, friends and everyone reading this. Bless them in ways they’ve never known before and make a way for them when there seems to be no way.
We love You, Lord, and we are thankful for all the blessings You’ve placed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
