No matter how much we might want life to slow down sometimes, it doesn’t. And it never will. We can’t slow it down, we can’t speed it up.
And no matter how much we want things to stop for just us, give us some time to come to grips with what’s going on, this ride called “life” waits for no one.
A few months ago, I was talking with a friend who had shared some things with me. She was upset because someone in our circle of friends had suddenly “changed”.
She just kept repeating, “I want things to go back to the way they were, back when we were all so close. We all could talk to each other about anything”.
I just listened and waited for her to talk it out. She had been particularly close to this friend. They had always considered each other best friends, but there were big changes happening.
When she noticed I wasn’t saying anything, she asked me what I thought. And, I have to admit, when all the changes started happening, I was of the same mindset.
But, now as I was talking with her, I felt very differently.
While on this ride called “life”, you have to take the good with the bad, smile when you’re sad, love what you’ve got and remember what you had. Always forgive, but never forget.
Learn from your mistakes, but never regret. People change. Things go wrong. Just remember, the ride goes on.
I began to tell her that life is all about change. We can’t control changes in someone else. We can only control how we react to them.
Life is not always amazing. Sometimes it beats you up, breaks your heart and creates deep chasms of pain that last for a long time, maybe for the rest of your life.
The only constant about this ride called “life” is that it goes on. It doesn’t stop to give you time to accept changes in someone else. Always, always remember, the ride goes on.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

Very True. The closer we get to our creator, the God of Israel (Yahweh), and have salvation through our messiah Yahshua (Jesus), we have the opportunity to sit back and see things differently and to respond to lifes challenges dirfferently, and calmy, with peace and even joy, knowing that our Heavenly Father, through His Ruach (Spirit) is running everything everywhere at the same time, to grow us up in maturity in our faith and to help others learn why we are so laid back about the things going on, instead of reacting, we respond with His kind words and hope for the present and future through our Messiah. His Peace passes understanding. His Joy IS over flowing. His Love is not as the world’s. His love is not for selfish gain or desires. He loved us while we were still sinners ( & basically hated or didn’t know of Him), and sent His son, Yahshua (Jesus) to die in our place for our sins. The wages of sin is death. Yahshua died for us and was risen by Yahweh, for death could not hold Yahshua. We too have life after death, we too if we die physically, will one day arise again, and be with our Heavenly Father, and see Yahshua our saviour/messiah! HalleluYah! If we are still alive when Yahshua returns for His people, we will be caught up to Him after the dead rise first. Wow! No more fear, anxiety, sorrow, anger, or anything else that isn’t of our Heavenly Father’s kingdom! HalleluYah! Just peace, joy, love, kindness, gentleness, etc.. that are of His kingdom! HalleluYah! These are the things for us to share with others!

Life has a price, our Father provided a way, we must chose to obey, to seek, to walk the walk. Is it easy? A child can do it, but the wises of men can stumble. ” Many are call, many seek to enter in, but only a few will answer or few will seek to enter in. Just remember no one will achieve by accident, heaven is a prepare place for a prepared people, remember the story about the brides who waited for the groom . Prepare yourself we all are in the race for our life, the Spirit will lead. Pray
robert shewcraft your brother standing with you.

Thank you for this post…..
Life is precious, Each new day a gift, indeed.
Are there bumps in the road, along the way? Yes, indeed there are, sometimes too many to fathom moving forward it seems!
BUT, after 78 years on this road, I can see lots of big bumps and small bumps, some detours, etc. Always someone, something to be thankful for even on those dark and gloomy days, AND I can see clearly now, that GOD was ALWAYS there beside me, available 24/7 on each of those days. HE promised to be with us, and HIS promises never fail.
Did I always realize it in those times of trial, no not really, but hindsight is 20/20.
If we stay close to HIM…we can get through anything!
Be THANKFUL, BE KIND, Keep believing!
Life is what you make it …We ARE Blessed. Look around you, there is always something to be thankful for! Thank you, Lord God!

Every morning when I wake up I Thank God for waking me up and I then I go about my way trying to be what God wants me to be.It is the only way. We must remember God rules the World and everything and everyone in it. Amen.
