In today’s sped up world, people, especially youth, seem to think that their possessions are what makes people rich.
If you have a nice home, nice cars, the latest and greatest electronic devices, designer clothes and the ability to travel where and when you want, then you are rich. You’ve achieved success that many are envious of.
But it isn’t about the amount of money you have or the amount you spend. Being rich is what you have in your heart.
To be rich is not what you have in your bank account, but what you have in your heart.
It isn’t money or material things that make us rich. It’s what we have in our hearts. It’s the love of family and friends. It’s what we do for others. It’s being there for other people. It’s giving to others with love and compassion. It’s extending kindness, compassion, empathy and blessings to those who would otherwise go without.
The richest people aren’t the ones with the most money. They’re the ones with the biggest hearts.
I know what you’re thinking. And yes, having money helps. It really helps. But if you have all the money you could ever spend, but you don’t have love for others in your heart, you aren’t rich at all. You just have money.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
