Have you been hearing it? Or reading it? Seeing it on your news stations? How Facebook is reeeeaally, reeeeaally changing, especially for business pages? Soon, the number of people we reach with our posts will decline to almost nothing. The concept of “organic reach” and “paid reach”, etc. can be very complicated. I admit it. I don’t get it all. But, basically–as I understand it–Facebook is applying algorithms to severely limit our reach. Already, we don’t reach 90% of the fans who have actually liked the page because of these algorithms.
And why are they doing this, you may ask. So that we, as businesses, will pay to promote our posts, sales, etc. At the beginning of 2015, it got even worse.

The Horse Mafia page is living proof of the changes that took effect on January 1st. Look at my likes and shares at the end of 2014 compared to my likes and shares over the past week. Drastically different.
