We’ve reached the middle of the week, my friends! Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! It’s our second Wednesday of April 2024 and I, for one, am so thankful that I’m here to see another beautiful sunrise.
A mid-week hug is always welcome. It helps you to let go of any stress that you’ve had in the beginning of the week and it renews your peace and helps you prepare for the rest of the week.
With this hug, I’m saying, “Be happy. Keep smiling, keep the faith, never lose hope and keep believing that God is working things out for us”.
I also wanted to pray a short, simple prayer and send it with your hugs. Please pray this prayer with me and receive the blessings I am sending with it.
Dear God, Thank You for protecting us through another night. Thank You for waking us up and letting us see this beautiful, second Wednesday of April 2024.
Not only did we wake up, Lord. But we are healthy and thriving. We have a smile on our face and peace in our heart because You woke us up and we have another day to live, laugh and love.
We are blessed, we have been shown favor by You and Your angels have been sent to guard over us and show us the way.
Lord, we thank You for bringing us through the beginning of the week and we know that You will carry us through the week and into a blessed weekend.
We know that You are with us, You are making a way for us, even if we can’t see it, and we believe that You are working everything out for us in Your timing.
Lord, may we treat everyone with Your kindness and compassion. We want everyone to see You in our lives, Lord.
Heal the sick who are suffering. Remove all pains from our bodies and restore good health. Touch us with Your healing hands and remove cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, arthritis, hypertension, lupus and all other illnesses we are struggling with.
Replace worry with Your peace and calm and bring happiness into our homes and workplaces.
Lord, we always say that we need You more than ever. And it’s true. We need You in every part of our lives. We need You at home, in our workplaces, in our public spaces, in our schools and everywhere else.
May we always remember that we need You as much on our good days as we need You on our bad days. We need You all the time in every way. We thank You for never leaving us.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
If you get to a place today where you need a hug, imagine this big, caring hug that I am sending to you! Wednesday Hugs!Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
