We’re here at another Wednesday! And it’s going to be a blessed day. I’m sending Wednesday hugs your way. Make sure you get yours.
With this hug, I am saying, “God loves you and cares about you. And I do too. May this hug bring a smile to your face and peace to your heart”.
It’s Wednesday. I’m breathing. I’m healthy. I’m truly blessed. I’m grateful for this day.
There’s something you may not know about me. I am geographically challenged. I tend to get lost whenever I am driving somewhere new. Well, I’ve even gotten lost in areas that I’ve spent quite a bit of time in.
I don’t get lost so much anymore, but only because I now have a GPS in my car. But it was only a few years ago that I would get lost just about every time I went somewhere. And it never failed…I would keep driving on the wrong road for too long.
I would just keep driving and keep telling myself that things were going to start looking familiar real fast. But they never did. I would always end up turning around and going the other way. Eventually, I would find my way.
But I always spent too much time on the wrong road. Always. I wouldn’t listen to my gut telling me to turn around. That I was wasting time going in the wrong direction. If I wanted to get to somewhere, I had to get on the right road.
No matter how far you’ve traveled down the wrong road, it’s never too late to turn around.
Life doesn’t always come with clear road maps. And we certainly can’t use a GPS to navigate through life. We hesitate to turn around because we think that we have somehow failed.
That isn’t the case at all. Once you realize you’re on the wrong road in life, turn around! The faster you turn around, the faster you can get on the right track.
I hope you can feel this big, caring Wednesday Hug!
Sending you love, blessings and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!

thank you for sharing. I can no longer drive but ask my husband if he is sure we are on the right road? Turning around is the real meaning of repentance in coming to know Jesus.
