Good Sunday Morning, my friends. It’s going to be a beautiful day! I’m sending out Happy Sunday Hugs to you! I hope you are able to catch one of these hugs.
So is this Sunday like your past few Sundays? Churches closed? All but “essential” businesses closed? Restaurants closed?
Keep the faith! Things are going to start changing really soon! We’ll be able to leave our homes to worship if we want to, we’ll be able to eat Sunday dinner together or just get together and make beautiful memories.
The past few weeks have been very hard on us. We can’t visit with our loved ones, we can’t go out and do those things which bring happiness to us.
Keep your head up, my friends. Our restrictions are about to lifted. They may be lifted slowly, but local governments are about to start lifting restrictions.
I thank God that He is bringing us out of this. That He has kept us safe, protected and in His care. We’ve had food to eat, water to drink and shelter.
With this hug, I am sending you encouragement. I am saying, “Just a few more days. We can do it. Stay at home until you know for sure that it is safe for you to leave.”
I am also sending you a prayer with this hug: Dear God, We thank You for protecting us during this pandemic. We know that it is You who has brought us to this point.
We would not have made it without You. We ask for Your continued protection during the last days of our stay at home orders.
We thank You for giving Your strength to the doctors, nurses and other healthcare providers so that they could care for us.
Replace our worries with Your peace and remove our fears and anxieties. Help us to remember that You are with us, You are in control and You can heal Your people.
Bless us so that we may bless others and let us serve as Your light so that others may find their way in these dark times. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
With this hug, I pray that God blesses you and heals you. And whenever you need it, close your eyes and remember this hug and this prayer.
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
